PLEASANTON, Calif. — The market continues to experience uncertainty as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and related response measures during the fourth quarter; particularly given the recent health measures taken to slow the resumption of normal business activity. Again, while there has been little change over the previous few months, prospects continue for both new and existing tenants. Close to 120,000 square feet of transactions have occurred to date since January 1 and net occupancy has increased since December 31, 2019. The park is the largest mixed-use development of its kind in Northern California.

“Hacienda's fourth quarter occupancy remains positive over the close of the prior year. Although Retail vacancy is slightly higher than the end of 2019, both Office and Flex vacancy are lower than the close of the prior year. Given all of the impacts on the market this year and the fact that Hacienda will likely still experience some lingering effects of these impacts, this level of stability is welcome.” notes James Paxson, Hacienda's general manager. "The other good news is that the current effects of the pandemic have slowed, but not stopped, discussions on new occupancy and plans to improve facilities."

Major Business Activity

Here is a summary of just some of what has gone on in Northern California’s largest mixed-use development in the past three months:
